# Image provenance

The photographic images and the dot-grid background in this directory were
generated with AI in Midjourney, and `screenshot.png` shows them (see the
image credits in `readme.txt`). The check icon was drawn for the theme.

## Machine-readable marking (EU AI Act §50(2) alignment)

The files listed under "AI-generated" carry the IPTC digital source type
marker (`XMP-iptcExt:DigitalSourceType = trainedAlgorithmicMedia`), applied
2026-10-29 after the WebP conversion. `screenshot.png` (in the theme root)
carries `compositeWithTrainedAlgorithmicMedia`, since it is a screenshot of
the theme showing these images.

To tag a newly added AI-generated image:
